Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, but lacked soundproofing, allowing conversations to be heard easily. The lighting setup was inconvenient with master switches controlling all lights. The staff were top-notch, addressing concerns promptly and offering a better room upon request. The location was great for walking into the center and near excellent cafes but required a taxi for town trips. The dining options were varied but struggled with quality due to high volume. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with attentive staff, though improvements in soundproofing and dining quality could enhance the experience.
What a wonderful stay! The room I was upgraded to had a beautiful view, and the hotel facilities, like the gym and pool, were top-notch. The service was impeccable, one of the best I have ever experienced, as they were responsive to all our needs. The location was just perfect for exploring the city, close to key areas and parks. While the dining options were a bit pricey, the hotel made up for it with fresh orange juice on offer. Overall, a delightful experience with great value for money.
The hotel offers a great view over Wellington, but rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, although quite loud during the day. The service was fantastic with sweet and thoughtful gestures despite some minor issues with maintenance. The location, though in a quiet suburb on the hill, is close to the city center while offering a more secluded feel. The dining experience was excellent with a great view, although staff attention could be improved. Overall, a mix of positive and negative aspects to consider.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. The location was a little out of the way but still close to the city center. The dining options were a bit expensive, but the facilities were decent.
The hotel offers luxurious and comfortable rooms but could be challenging to enter with the desk layout. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, above average in quality. The service is professional and helpful overall, although there were incidents of rudeness and unjust accusations. The location is convenient for exploring the city and has some minor issues with room setups. The dining experience is mostly positive with a varied menu, although some offerings were disappointing. The facilities are well-maintained with common complaints about specific setups.
The hotel offers large comfortable double beds but lacks some essential room amenities like lamps. Despite being clean, the rooms look a bit tired. Access is slightly obstructed by furniture placement, making it hard to bring in large bags. The staff are attentive and friendly, though there was an unfortunate incident with rude behavior and accusations. The location is conveniently close to the city center and Victoria University, but it's noted to be on a steep hill. The dining experience provides everything needed but may seem a bit pricey. Overall, a decent option for those looking for basic comforts and good service.
My stay at the hotel was triple value, as it was AMAZING having everything I could ask for in the rooms. The pool/sauna area was just for ourselves, and they were even willing to let us stay longer if we wanted. However, I hoped for a bit more class during my stay.
